Where each ingredient comes from

Botana Butter

Coconut Butter

Botana Butter

Batana butter comes from the Elaeis oleifera palm tree, a slow-growing American palm native to the rainforests of Honduras. This tree produces small, oil-rich fruits that the Miskito people have processed by hand for centuries to create batana. Traditionally used as a natural hair treatment, batana butter is valued for restoring damaged strands, reducing breakage, adding deep moisture, enhancing shine, and supporting healthy hair growth.

Shea Butter

Coconut Butter

Botana Butter

Shea butter comes from the nuts of the shea tree, a hardy, long-living tree native to the savannas of West Africa. For centuries, communities have hand-processed its nuts to extract the rich, creamy butter used in traditional skin and hair care. Known for its high concentration of vitamins and fatty acids, shea butter deeply moisturizes the hair, smooths frizz, softens dry strands, protects against breakage, and helps maintain a healthy scalp.

Coconut Butter

Coconut Butter

Coconut Butter

Coconut butter comes from the meat of mature coconuts harvested from the coconut palm tree, which grows throughout tropical regions around the world. For generations, people have blended the whole coconut flesh into a smooth, nutrient-rich butter used in traditional beauty and hair rituals. Packed with natural fatty acids, coconut butter deeply moisturizes dry hair, strengthens weakened strands, reduces frizz, adds shine, and helps protect the hair from damage and dryness.

Castor Oil

Castor Oil

Coconut Butter

Castor oil comes from the seeds of the castor bean plant, a resilient plant that has been cultivated for thousands of years across Africa, India, and the Mediterranean. Traditionally extracted by pressing the seeds, castor oil has long been used for its powerful healing and beauty benefits. Rich in ricinoleic acid, it nourishes the scalp, promotes thicker-looking hair, strengthens weak strands, reduces breakage, and helps moisturize and protect dry or damaged hair.

Jojoba Oil

Castor Oil

Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil is extracted from the seeds of the jojoba plant, a hardy shrub native to the deserts of the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. Used for centuries by indigenous peoples, jojoba oil closely resembles the natural oils produced by the scalp, making it an excellent moisturizer. It helps balance scalp oil production, hydrates hair without leaving it greasy, strengthens strands, reduces breakage, and adds shine

Argon Oil

Castor Oil

Jojoba Oil

Argan oil is derived from the kernels of the argan tree, which grows mainly in the arid regions of southwestern Morocco. For centuries, Berber communities have carefully extracted this precious oil using traditional methods. Rich in antioxidants, vitamin E, and essential fatty acids, argan oil deeply nourishes and moisturizes hair, reduces frizz, repairs damage, adds shine, and helps protect hair from environmental stressors.

Saw Pallmetto Oil

Eucalyptus Essential Oil

Rosemary Essential Oil

Saw palmetto oil comes from the berries of the saw palmetto plant, a small palm native to the southeastern United States. Indigenous communities have used these berries for centuries for their medicinal and strengthening properties. In hair care, saw palmetto oil is valued for helping block DHT—the hormone linked to thinning hair—making it useful for supporting fuller, healthier-looking growth. It also helps soothe the scalp, reduce inflammation, and strengthen weakened strands.

Rosemary Essential Oil

Eucalyptus Essential Oil

Rosemary Essential Oil

osemary essential oil is steam-distilled from the leaves of the rosemary plant, an aromatic evergreen herb native to the Mediterranean. Used for centuries in traditional beauty practices, it’s prized for its stimulating and cleansing effects. In hair care, rosemary essential oil is especially valued because it can support hair growth in a way similar to minoxidil, helping improve circulation to the scalp and encouraging fuller, healthier-looking hair. It also helps reduce dandruff, strengthen roots, soothe irritation, and add natural shine while keeping the scalp balanced.

Eucalyptus Essential Oil

Eucalyptus Essential Oil

Eucalyptus Essential Oil

Eucalyptus essential oil is extracted from the leaves of the eucalyptus tree, a tall, aromatic tree native to Australia and long used by Indigenous communities for its healing properties. In hair care, eucalyptus oil is valued for its refreshing, invigorating effect on the scalp. It helps increase circulation, cleanse buildup, and reduce inflammation, creating a healthier environment for hair growth. Its antimicrobial properties can also help reduce dandruff and support a clean, balanced scalp while adding a cooling, revitalizing sensation.

Vitamin E Oil

Sunflower Lecithin

Eucalyptus Essential Oil

Vitamin E oil is derived from vitamin-rich plant sources, often extracted from seeds or vegetable oils. Used for decades in skincare and hair care, it’s valued for its powerful antioxidant properties. In hair products, vitamin E oil helps protect oils and butters from going rancid, acting as a natural preservative booster. For the hair itself, it nourishes the scalp, improves moisture retention, reduces dryness, strengthens strands, and helps protect against damage from heat, sun, and styling. It also adds softness and shine while supporting overall scalp health.

Sunflower Lecithin

Sunflower Lecithin

Sunflower Lecithin

Sunflower lecithin is derived from sunflower seeds through a gentle, chemical-free extraction process that preserves its natural nutrients. Rich in phospholipids, it has long been used in food and wellness for its ability to bind ingredients together. In hair care, sunflower lecithin acts as a natural emulsifier, helping butters and oils blend smoothly and stay evenly mixed in your formulas. It also conditions the hair, keeping it soft, hydrated, easier to manage, and less prone to frizz and breakage while supporting a healthy, moisturized scalp.
